More than 800,000 Americans of Romanian heritage live in America. But the official statistics don’t count all of us. That hurts all of us — and the partnership between our nations.

In 2020, we can help fix that — by making sure that every American of Romanian heritage says so in Question 9 of the 2020 US Census.

An accurate count will help strengthen the US/Romanian partnership by showing the role of Romanian Americans in every community — and from coast to coast.

Here's how you can help! It's easy.

2020 Census Campaign

1. PLEDGE TO WRITE "ROMANIAN" ON YOUR CENSUS FORM

If you live in the United States, you will be counted during the 2020 census. It is important that under the question about your race, you not only check the appropriate box, but write in ROMANIAN so that the Romanian community can be officially tallied. This is Question 9 on the census form. Help us get an accurate count of the Romanian community!
