Book Launch: Intellectuals and Fascism in Interwar Romania: The Criterion Association (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019)

Cristina A. Bejan is a Rhodes and Fulbright scholar, Oxford DPhil (PhD) and faculty at Metropolitan State University of Denver. She has taught history across the country (including Duke and Georgetown Universities) and worked at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum as a researcher. A theatre artist, she has written 17 plays and produced/directed/sound designed countless more in the US and abroad. Her poetry collection “Green Horses on the Walls” will be released May 22, 2020 by Finishing Line Press. As Executive Director of the arts group Bucharest Inside the Beltway she produces and promotes local and international art in Denver and Bucharest. BiB’s next project is producing an evening of 6 plays by women playwrights of Romanian heritage (Domnica Radulescu, Saviana Stanescu, Catalina Florina Florescu, Amanda Andrei, Rucsandra Pop and Bejan).
