Alianta Gala 2018
The 5th Annual Alianta Gala took place on Friday, November 16, 2018, at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C. — an evening celebrating achievements in the Romanian-American community and strengthening the ties between Romania and the United States.
The day opened with the first-ever Alianta Gala Roundtables on security, business and culture, hosted at the Embassy of Romania, and the weekend continued on November 17 with an academic roundtable marking Romania’s Centenary and a guided tour of the Smithsonian’s Freer Gallery of Art.

- Guided tour of the Freer Gallery of Art (Smithsonian Institution) with Sonia Coman, Columbia Ph.D. and Anne van Biema Fellow.
